Video is a primary medium for sharing the Sundance story. As head of content, I oversaw all phases of video production for hundreds of pieces providing broad overviews, highlighting specific aspects of the organization, or promoting the work of Sundance artists. From ideation to promotion, I worked with Institute leadership, internal staff, freelancers, and top agencies to create a robust library of content that continues to engage a broad range of existing and new audiences around the world.

Short Documentaries
With short documentaries we shared specific aspects of the Institute’s story and the work of its artists. From concept through distribution, I oversaw all aspects of these pieces. Published on the Sundance site, the pieces were also shared through targeted emails, newsletters, and social media. Short clips were used to promote the content on platforms like Twitter and Instagram, and sponsors were provided with footage for their own promotional purposes.
Sundance Film Festival Trailers
For each annual edition of the Sundance Film Festival, new pre-show trailers are created. Trailers celebrate the films of the year’s Festival and those from its history. These play before every film at the Festival and are adapted for use on social platforms and live streams.
